Jen has an MFA in Directing from American Film Institute Conservatory and a BA in Film and Digital Media from UC-Santa Cruz. She's directed over a dozen narrative and documentaries shorts as well as several brand videos for companies such as Burberry, The Sunglasses Hut, Zimmerman, iLuxCars, The Artemis School & The Conscious Uncoupling Institute. As a producer, she's made several videos for a collaboration between Wanderlust & Ford Motors and Wanderlust & Adidas.


Also a screenwriter, Jen was recently a semi-finalist in the 2014 and 2016 CineStory Foundation screenwriting competitions. Her feature scripts "One Big Happy Family" & "Blank" have both been optioned by Aaron Magnani productions (The Last Word, Iron Doors).


Previously, Jen worked in commercial and music video production at Squeak Pictures under producers Pam Tarr, Vicki Mayer & Jason Buchtel. She then followed producer Jason Buchtel ("Showboy") to Master Notions, an independent production company he formed with former producer turned reporter Glenn Greenwald (The Intercept), serving as their director of development between 2003-2004. Afterwards, Jen went to work for writer/director/producer Clive Barker at Seraphim Films (Hellraiser, Candyman) until her acceptance into AFI in 2005.


During that time, Jen transitioned into another aspect of the entertainment industry; celebrity fashion PR and styling, freelancing for companies such as Calvin Klein and Burberry for six years until venturing out on her own as a red carpet stylist for actors such as Robin Wright, Guy Pearce & Lucy Punch from 2010-2015. 


In tandem, Jen created a coaching and consulting practice for creatives called Intuitive Artists. In 2012, she was coined “The Luminary Life Coach” by Refinery29.com . In 2014 she was awarded the "Women of Professional Excellence" award from Star Jones, president of the National Association of Professional Women. Most recently, Jen was featured in Voyage LA magazine as an inspirational person to know in 2018.


Jen's passion for empowering others has led her to complete several trainings in personal transformation, leadership development, energy healing, spirituality, psychotherapy & professional life coaching. The modalities Jen works with include Internal Family Systems Therapy, Imago Therapy, Voice Dialogue, Sedona Method, Conscious Uncoupling, Reconnective Healing, Meisner Technique & Character Mapping.


Currently, Jen is directing a documentary that explores the theory of natural multiplicity in all humans, featuring singer/songwriter Alanis Morissette.
