Raised in multiple countries—Israel, France, Belgium, Italy—Roxine Helberg is a recent graduate of the American Film Institute Conservatory. Her films typically merge high-concept with human sensibility. She has been recognized for her foresight and creative construction, and has directed films with talents such as Miles Teller, Alden Ehrenreich, and Gigi Hadid. Roxine has directed commercials for Guess Jeans, Roxana SalehounSwimwear, Disney Princess and Rebook & Le Mills amongst others. Her branded short Trouble was featured on Hypebeast, Vanity Fair, and in Glamour Magazine as ‘best video of the week’. She produced and directed a short documentary series for the Los Angeles non-profit Inner-City Arts. Roxine conceptualized and created a multi-video screen experience with the agency Yu+Co. Recently, she worked with director Jean-Marc Vallée on the HBO series Big Little Lies and Sharp Objects. Roxine was selected for Ryan Murphy's 2018 Half Initiative Program and shadowed the director Jen Lynch on the show American Horror Story season 8 (FX). Roxine is currently directing on a new series for Facebook Watch set to premiere in January 2019, and has several projects in development both in film and television—always looking for avenues to weave fresh imageries with impactful storytelling.
